Branding & Customization

The system can be tailored to carry a brand's identity, so the people using it feel they're using their organization's system. This is a key advantage when offering the platform to clients: the same powerful platform can wear many different brands.

This page explains what can be customized and how it works — in plain terms.

Two Levels of Branding

There are two distinct ways the system is branded. Knowing the difference helps set expectations with clients.

1. Per-Client Branding (instant, no rebuild)

The system can show each client their own branding automatically. When a client's details are set up, their people see:

  • The client's name in page titles and on the login screen.
  • The client's logo on the sign-in screen.
  • The client's icon in the browser tab and when the app is saved to a phone's home screen.

This works per company, so a single system can serve several clients / branches at once — each seeing their own brand. Setting it up is a matter of entering the client's details and uploading their logo; no rebuild or developer work is required.

2. The Base Look & Feel (set once)

Beyond the per-client branding above, the system has an overall look — its default colors, fonts, and default logo. This is the GoldServe product identity, set up once. It's what users see before a client's own logo is applied, and it defines the accent color and typography throughout the app.

Onboarding a New Client's Branding

A simple, repeatable checklist for each new client:

  1. Enter the client's organization name.
  2. Upload the client's logo (used on the login screen and as the tab icon).
  3. Confirm the primary company is set, so it provides the default brand before sign-in.
  4. Assign the client's people to their company so they see the right branding.
  5. Sign in as a client user and check the name, logo, and icon all look right.

That's it — no technical steps for standard per-client branding.

Things to Finalize in the Base Setup

A couple of brand details belong to the one-time base setup rather than per-client onboarding. It's worth confirming these are set to the intended GoldServe identity before going to market:

  • The accent color used across the app.
  • The app description and theme color shown when the system is saved to a phone as an app.

These are set once and apply everywhere a client hasn't supplied their own logo.

Confirm before go-to-market

Base-setup details apply across every client that hasn't supplied their own logo, so double-check them before launch — they're the fallback brand everyone sees.

Going Further

For a deeper rebrand — for example, launching the platform under an entirely different product name — more extensive customization is possible. That's a larger, one-time effort handled during product setup, not part of routine client onboarding.

Raise it early

If a client needs more than name, logo, and colors, flag it at the start of the engagement so the extra setup can be planned in — it isn't a same-day change.
